The Role
The Marketing Manager role is a critical role in our company. It has responsibility for leading the strategic direction for the Digital, Brand and Trade Marketing functions building on the overall business strategy of the company.
The core responsibility of the Marketing Manager includes:
- Leading the strategic direction of the company brand ensuring it is aligned to overall business objectives and values.
- Ensuring the company brand continues to evolve from strength to strength and is consistent across all touch points both internally and externally.
- Lead a high performing Marketing team where strong team engagement scores are a reflection of success.
- Successful collaboration across all levels of the organisation including the Senior Management Team and Executive Management group.
- Leadership and development of innovative and “value add” initiatives for all customers.
- Prioritization of marketing activity, spend and resources in line with business performance and agreed company long term goals.
- Manages effectively and in a resourceful manner a specified budget, knowing which online and offline levers are best activated to achieve result. Ensure innovation across the media mix in areas such as social media, digital display and experimental marketing.
- Provide leadership to analysis and data for decision making purposes using a combination of analytic tools, commercial judgment and intuition.

Digital Presence
- Develop online marketing strategies, plans and roadmaps to support increased traffic and brand awareness objectives to include digital PR, SEO, PPC, Affiliate and Email marketing.
- Develop strategies working with technology and product teams to improve the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website. (optimization of web pages, landing pages and conversion strategies)
- Oversee all brand communications through digital channels
- Analyse and interpret data to include profiling and behavior across customer journey mapping and web traffic data
- Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data
- Ensure all digital activity is trackable and measurable and ROI can be demonstrated
- Keep abreast of digital landscape in order to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing /ahead of our competitors
Events & Consumer and Trade Marketing
- Mastermind and execute innovative offline campaigns to educate and inform target audience
- about available value propositions - Career Fairs, University Outreach Programs
- Work with Product Partner Manager to find, develop and leverage supporters who have time,
- expertise and connections –Ambassadors and key Influencers
- Leverage these relationships to broaden the company’s reach and impact so that we can do more with less
Summary of Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Masters Degree with a specialization in Marketing preferred
- At least 5 years of well-rounded marketing and business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility, with a focus on market expansion and identifying emerging marketing trends
- 3 years of leadership experience with ability to motivate and provide professional development to a team
- Experience building brand awareness and support internally
- Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management, sales and business development; along with a track record of success and performance
