Nollywood actress and producer, Iyabo Ojo, one of the many actresses who are divorced from their husbands, has finally decided to drop her ex-husband’s name and revert to her own surname of Ogunro.
According to insiders, the actress who dumped her marriage to a renowned Yoruba movies marketer some years ago is taking the action so as to be totally free from her former marriage.
Another school of thought is of the view that the current man in her life gave her an ultimatum to either drop the name or forget him.
She also agreed to change the name so as to ward off any negative comments like the one that followed her colleague,Fathia Balogun, who has been having a running battle with her ex-husband, Saheed Balogun, over the continuous use of his name.
She took to her Facebook account to effect the change with the following message:
“Attention! Attention!! Attention!!!
“To all my fans and love ones, I will not be using IYABO OJO FILMS PRODUCTION as my movie production name!
“FESPRIS Production is my new movie production name from henceforth as I will be dropping d name ‘Ojo’ soon.”
