Consider the following score and use it for your admission target.
150- 160 = for a state poly especially the northern states, including the colleges of education
160-179. = for any polytechnic in Nigeria but the federal poly may not accept it.
180 - 199 = for all state university and polytechnic but the federal school may not accept it.
200-219 = it will be generally accepted in the university or poly but some courses can not be studied with 210 or 215 in jamb.
220-240 and 240 - 260. = A candidate with such score can apply for any course in any university or polytechnic.
Kindly note that the location also determine, some norther school can admit a candidate with 190 in jamb to study law or medicine which will not be accepted in many other university
