Applications Opens For Admission Into Lagos State School Of Nursing 2013/2014

Applications are invited for admission into General Nursing Training Programme at Lagos State School of Nursing Igando Alimosho, Lagos. The programme will commence in November 2013

INTRODUCTION
General Nursing Training Programme is an aspect of Nursing Education that prepares students to become Professional Registered Nurses. The qualifications are accredited and graded by the NUrsing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT
WASSCE or its equivalent with Credit in five(5) subjects including English language, Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry in not more than 2 sittings.

AGE LIMIT: 17 - 23 YEARS
STUDY PERIOD: 3 YEARS

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application forms are available at LAgos State school of Nursing Complex, LASU-ISHERI Road, Igando (Inside Alimosho General Hospital) upon payment of N5,000 into Skye Bank Account of Lagos State

Completed application forms with relevant documents (photocopies of birth and educational certificates) are to be accompanied with a handwritten personal statement on "WHY I WANT TO BE A NURSE" in not more than 100 words and to reach the Lagos State School of Nursing Complex Igando on or before Friday 15th November, 2013. Submission of application forms closes on Friday 15th November at 2pm.

EXAMINATION:
Examination comes up on Wednesday 20th November, 2013 at the complex by 10am and examination questions will cover English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, General Knowledge, Common affairs and Introduction to General Nursing.

Please note that only successful shortlisted candidates will be contacted and a first yr fee of N230,000 which includes accomodation is to be paid on resumption. Also note that this advert disclaims all other call for applications into the Lagos State School of Nursing.
